Dear Reader,
OK, I know this is kind of late, but...
"HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!"
Let's see what I've done in the past year :
-Had a screwed up drama.
-Made an article about the weird things people put into their songs, AND told you about my secret love of mango pudding.
-Became random.
-Got a surprise party, planned by my very own sister, of course with help from the family and Ashman.
-Revived my dead FaceBook account.
-Started to obsess about FaceBook.
-Got over my obsession.
-Went through some rough times with Ashman.
-Redesigned my blog and launched the beta version.
-Decided it looked bad and planned to re-redesign it.
-Has yet to re-redesign it.
-Started playing DotA and got quite good, though is still a noobish feeder.
-Told you a story about APAF, the Pigs, and ESEC.
-Realized that current television shows suck compared to retro 1990's TV.
-Got a PS3 (though the post was released after New Year)
-Oh yeah, and started a blog.
That pretty sums everything up, except for one thing that happened, but wasn't written about...
-Had to say goodbye to Ashman on the phone in Perak, when he officially moved the last box from his condominium to his car, on the 30th of November 2008 at roughly 4pm.
*sigh*
I'm gonna miss that freak.

I finally got it.
I finally got the PlayStation 3 (PS3).
Yes, yes, I know this is my PMR year and I have to beat my siblings' and relatives' results...
And yes, Form 3 is the Folio Project year, and you have to do like 5 folios at one time...
And yes, the results of PMR will determine whether I make it to boarding school or not... yada yada ya da...
I GET IT!
I KNOW THE SITUATION!!
SO STOP PRESSURING ME!!!

What the HECK has happened to TV?
Dear Reader,
What the heck has happened to TV?
Seriously, what the HECK has happened to TV?
When did all the good shows stop?
Where have they gone?
I'm talking about shows like Angry Beavers, So Weird, Dinosaurs, Rugrats (old episodes), Dexter's Laboratory, PepperAnn, PowerPuff Girls, Boy Meets World, Figure It Out, Johnny Quest, Kenan and Kel, All That, Hey Arnold, Art Attack, SpongeBob SquarePants (the old episodes), Doug, Johnny Bravo, Even Stevens, Recess, Cousin Skeeter, The Three Brothers Garcia and many, many more.
Now I clearly know that I had only started watching TV in the latter half of the 1990's, and it's not really my place to rant about it because I've only been exposed to the gist of it. But my question still stands :
What the HECK has happened to TV?
And let's see what we have now to replace those awesome shows :

The Replacements
The Mighty B!

PowerPuff Girls Z (What the heck?!)
Out of Jimmy's Head

I remember a time not too long ago when the fun channels (shows for kids) actually had quality TV. From around 1998 to around 2003. Those were the years I remember watching these good programmes. The only reason (and I'm quite sure I share this reason with many other people out there) that I watch these current crappy shows is basically because I have no choice.
But sure, there are those shows nowadays which are OK. Like Drake and Josh, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Avatar : The Last Airbender, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, That's So Raven, Naruto, Codename : Kids Next Door, Star Wars : Clone Wars and some of The Fairly OddParents episodes (Remember I'm only talking about the Fun channels).
Eventhough there are still some good existing shows, they are quite mediocre compared to the good ol' 90's shows, and only make me laugh a third as much.
Think about it.
